Growing up in foster care, I remember sitting in class listening to friends talk about the PlayStations and big-ticket gifts “Santa” brought them… while I quietly held onto my new pyjamas or a book. And trust me, I was grateful for anything I received…. it was still tough hearing those conversations, feeling that little sting of being different. People love to say, “Life isn’t fair, kids need to learn that!” But… do they really need to learn that lesson at Christmas? Just my two cents: let Santa
